"We wanted to thank you and your colleagues for the work you did with us via the mock inspection. This was crucial to the result because it helped us to focus on the key issues and in some instances provided an impetus for improvement in areas that had not previously been evident to us. As a result of your feedback we were able to address the 'deal breakers' in a more robust fashion. Perhaps equally importantly, we were also able to put in place a number of simple improvements, for example around access, customer care and diversity. These were received positively by the inspectors and are helping to produce better outcomes for our customers.
I also believe that the peer evaluation that emerged from the mock inspection process was an important factor in building the confidence of our team.
